The Greater Kitsap Chamber and Visitor Center recently celebrated two years as a merged organization at its annual meeting in June. More than 130 members, community and elected officials attended. New and returning board members were sworn in by Kitsap County Commissioner Katie Walters and Bremerton Mayor Greg Wheeler.
The Greater Kitsap Chamber is a result of a merger in 2022 between the Silverdale Chamber of Commerce and the Bremerton Chamber of Commerce. Collectively, the chamber has been serving local businesses since 1904. Nearly 600 businesses and nonprofits are members of the Greater Kitsap chamber, with membership spread across Kitsap, Mason and Jefferson counties.
