The owner of Cook's Whimsy, a kitchen shop in Gig Harbor, Carrie Clark has been a Pacific Northwest resident for 15 years. While growing up, she lived in Indonesia and China, where she learned to appreciate many cuisines (her comfort food is still Indonesian food). She attended the culinary program at Seattle Central Community College (now Seattle Culinary Academy) and worked in the restaurant industry for several years. Carrie also has a bachelor's degree in finance. Besides handling the store operations, she occasionally gets to do cooking classes.
