This year, WestSound Magazine magazine received an abundance of creative tablescapes. The choices were all wonderful — but our tablescape judges, Linna Lawrence and Tami Blacknall, made the difficult decisions!
Thank you to all who took the time to submit their tablescapes. And thank you to our judges for their time and expertise.
Congratulations to our winners: LeAnn Williams, Lois Ireland and Lois Forbes on their creations of beautiful tables.
First Place — Dinner on the Dock
“This dinner was for a fundraiser for JDRF. It was a slient auction item at our annual paddle boat races. We hosted three couples, and it was a great success. The lake setting was a perfect backdrop to our tablescape.”

Second Place — St. Patrick’s Day Tablescape
“Every St. Patrick’s Day, I borrow my sister’s sophisticated gold-and-green dinnerware and her gold flatware. Placecards embellished with carefully chosen Irish sayings for each guest brought fun to my table. I used grey and green linen chargers and I chose soft-green candles, using single candle holders in a variety of heights to add interest. Around my large centerpiece, I added photos of lambs and an old-world lamb figurine.”

Third Place — Tea Leaf Collection
“A piece of Tea Leaf Ironstone from my grandmother and a piece from my husband’s grandmother is what inspired me to begin collecting this pattern. I now have complete service for 20, including many serving pieces and more than 200 pitchers. I enjoy finding pieces and learning about Tea Leaf and treasure them all. My flatware is Gregorian Rose by Reed & Barton — a pattern I chose over 60 years ago.”
