The 2nd Annual Kitsap Farm Tour takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11. This is an opportunity for you to visit 11 farms across Kitsap County in a one-day, self-guided tour. The farms feature family-friendly activities, animal experiences and local products for purchase. Many will also offer food and snacks for sale.
The tour is an initiative of the Kitsap Agritourism Coalition (KAC), a group of dedicated farmers working together to promote agritourism in Kitsap County. The event is supported by WSU Kitsap Extension, Kitsap Community & Agricultural Alliance (KCAA) and Visit Kitsap Peninsula.
The event is free, with a suggested one-time donation of $10 per family or car. All donations go directly toward helping KAC and farmers continue to grow and improve the event for future years. For a full list of activities for the day, go to bit.ly/kitsap-farm-tour.
