On Friday and Saturday, July 10 and 11, Arts & Humanities Bainbridge will once again welcome the public into exquisite private landscapes at Bainbridge in Bloom.
Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with live music throughout the tour, the six stunning gardens chosen for the 2015 Bloom are sure to inspire the gardener within us all, cultivating ideas with transplantable approaches to a large variety of settings.
Here, the Spanish proverb holds true: More grows in the garden than the gardener sows. Proceeds from Bainbridge in Bloom Garden Tour support the year-round services and programs of Arts & Humanities Bainbridge, where the arts and humanities flourish.

There is something for everyone at the Bloom this year. While one garden defines the balance between textures, colors and shapes, another is overflowing with a vintage approach to romantic layering. In another, two companion planters together transformed a hillside property, which would otherwise have washed down to the sea, into a series of splendid terraces with pathways for the grandchildren to explore.
“This is my preferred place to be,” one of the Bloom gardeners explains, standing amidst a fragrant bounty of blooms destined for beautiful bouquets.
From a peaceful bonsai garden surrounding a koi pond, to a picturesque landscape designed and cared for by a Master Gardener, this annual garden tour is a perennial delight.
