KEDA’s 2025 Annual Meeting & Economic Forecast Luncheon at the Clearwater Casino Resort brought together 280 business and community leaders for insights on Kitsap’s economic future. Dell Gines, PhD, chief innovation officer at the International Economic Development Council, delivered a keynote on entrepreneurship-led economic development, while WWU economists Hart Hodges and James McCafferty presented the economic forecast. Maria Tobin, South Sound Military and Communities Partnership, shared key findings from the 2024 WA State Defense Economic Impact Study. Economic Champion Awards honored Marty Cavalluzzi, Olympic College, for education leadership, and Susan Veach, Accountability Plus, for 20 years of service to KEDA.
