The annual Kitsap Building Association’s (KBA) awards celebrate the achievements of members who have gone above and beyond in their craft, their community and their contributions to the industry.
The KBA was privileged to have so many talented and passionate individuals and companies nominated. The winners in seven categories were as follows:
- Community Service Volunteer of the Year Award — Recognizing a member who has made significant contributions to the community. This year’s award winner: Jake Carter, Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County.
- Design Professional of the Year Award — honoring innovation and excellence in design. This year’s award winner: Aaron Murphy, ADM Architecture.
- Remodeler of the Year Award — celebrating excellence in remodeling projects. This year’s award winner: Steven Bodle, Back Forty Repairs.
- Company of the Year Award — recognizing a business that has demonstrated outstanding achievement and community impact. This year’s award winner: Kitsap Credit Union.
- Associate of the Year Award — recognizing an individual who has made a significant impact as an associate member of the KBA. This year’s award winner: Steve Sego, Waterman Mitigation Partners.
- Custom Builder of the Year Award — recognizing excellence in custom home building. This year’s award winner: Matt Lewis, Garrette Custom Homes.
- Builder of the Year Award — celebrating the highest achievement in building and leadership. This year’s award winner: Bob Disney, Disney & Associates.
