Vista Gardens recently hosted Fall Gathering, uniting community leaders, local business owners, volunteers and garden enthusiasts. This special event introduced the new executive director, Baqi Kopelman, who shared his vision for the future of Vista Gardens and officially kicked off the garden’s rebrand and relaunch. The day symbolized new beginnings, highlighted by a ceremonial tree planting led by founder John Albers and Mayor Greg Wheeler.
Guests enjoyed live music, wine tastings from Bainbridge Vineyards and a group planting activity using over 30 plants generously donated by Valley Nursery.
With the rebrand and Baqi’s dynamic leadership, Vista Gardens is evolving into a thriving center for sustainable gardening education and community engagement ready to make an even greater impact in the years ahead.
