Gig Harbor’s in-the-works Chick-fil-A location might be coming a little later than expected: Gig Harbor Now reported last week that the fast-food chain has been granted more time by the city to get paperwork in for its tentative building plans.

The location will be at the former Chevron location on Point Fosdick Drive. The business has until Feb. 23 to fill out the planning documents required to apply for a conditional-use permit, the article said. (Chick-fil-A hasn’t, the article noted, yet officially confirmed its Gig Harbor plans.)

If the Gig Harbor branch does indeed open, it will join several other Washington locations for the chain, which include Lacey, Marysville, Puyallup, Bonney Lake, Lakewood, Bellevue, and several others.
