Colleen Miko, host the “Engaging Kitsap” program produced by Bremerton-Kitsap Access Television (BKAT), recently interviewed Dee Coppola, founding editorial director of WestSound magazine and owner of Wet Apple Media. Dee highlighted how the magazine got started and why it has been successful for 19 years.
“We’ve become such a part of the community,” she said. “We highlight local businesses, local homes, local artists — it’s all local.”
Dee also shared some behind-the-scenes stories and talked about other Wet Apple publications. Check out her interview.
BKAT is owned by the city of Bremerton, with the mission to provide a means for expression through cable TV and video, encourage civic awareness with coverage of government meetings and inspire the community with positive and hyper-local stories.
