Get ready to hustle and jog at Shamrock’n the Harbor, a 5K and 12K family fun run in Gig Harbor on March 14.
The event will take place on Cushman Trail starting at the Hollycroft Trailhead, where participants can choose between two different levels of runs. The 5K run moves toward the Tacoma Narrows Bridge before turning back after 2.5 miles; the 12K run will see participants going across the Narrows before turning back.
Runners are encouraged to wear their best St. Patrick’s Day attire to celebrate the occasion. There will also be a costume trot for those who want to show off their St. Paddy’s wear.
Tickets are $44 for adults, $38 for those 6-12 years old, and $20 for those under 6. All funds raised for the run will go to the Gig Harbor Senior Center. Sign up to register here.
