Brrr, ready to kick off the new year with a cold plunge? The YMCA Camp Seymour is hosting its Polar Bear Plunge on New Year’s Day to refreshingly kickstart 2026.
Participants can safely take the plunge in the cool waters of the Puget Sound from 10 a.m. to noon with the safety of a lifeguard present (participants are required to wear a life jacket.) Afterward, plungers can take a hot shower in the changing rooms and enjoy a brunch.
The event is free for community members, though brunch costs $8. RSVP here.
