To celebrate the holiday spirit, the Kitsap Regional Library’s Manchester location is screening the Christmas classic “Home Alone” from 2-4:30 p.m. on Dec. 19.

Participants inspired by the scrappy creativity shown in the movie are encouraged to build their own “booby traps” with Lego bricks. If not, sit back and enjoy the film with complimentary hot cocoa and cookies.

If you need some alone time to finish wrapping up Christmas gifts, the library system has another holiday program that might be of interest: its Bremerton location, on Sylvan Way, is having a drop-in gift-wrapping station.

While supplies last, community members can stop by the help desk and use the library’s assortment of paper, bows, ribbons, and other decorative supplies to wrap presents. The free resource is available during the library’s operational hours and is offered through Dec. 23.
