Gig Harbor’s 7 Seas Brewing and 253Heart have collaborated on a tasty new brew that gives back. A portion of the proceeds from 253 Pilsner, available at local retailers, will be donated to South Sound nonprofits.
Two featured local nonprofits are selected at a time for fundraising to $5,000. The goal is to work with a variety of small, local nonprofits that have low overhead, will be impacted greatly by the funds.
“Both companies love our community and believe that largest impact for positive change comes from within,” says 7 Seas’ co-owner and president Mike Runion. “253 Pilsner is a delicious NW Pilsner, a throwback to the brewing giants that used to inhabit our area. Great beer benefiting great local causes.”
The initial nonprofits beneficiaries are Alchemy Skate, an indoor skate park in Tacoma, and Peninsula Hands On Art, a Gig Harbor organization that brings arts projects to Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula classrooms.
