Kaiti Dewhirst
As a young child wading in Puget Sound tide pools, Kaiti Dewhirst fell in love with sea creatures. Taking a marine biology class in her senior year of high school made her rethink her original plan to go to art school, and she is now pursuing a degree in environmental education so she can teach others about being good stewards of the amazing world we live in. After having the opportunity to teach in local elementary schools and participate in public education programs as a Harbor WildWatch intern in fall 2014, Kaiti is thrilled to continue working with this nonprofit organization.
