The 2024 Military Appreciation Day event was a big hit with the community in March. The Kitsap County Fairground Pavilion was filled with families as the Greater Kitsap Chamber welcomed more than 1,400 people to celebrate the military community and to learn about businesses and organizations around Kitsap. It was a record turnout post-pandemic and families enjoyed free food samples, games, bouncy houses and more. Many thanks to the nearly 100 businesses, service organizations and nonprofits that participated, with special thanks to the Military Appreciation Day Committee and the many volunteers who made the day possible.
