The Winery Alliance of Bainbridge Island, a longstanding organization representing the vibrant wineries of Bainbridge Island, is expanding significantly. For over 12 years, the alliance has been dedicated to promoting and supporting the six wineries nestled on Bainbridge Island. Now, the organization is broadening its scope to embrace wineries across the greater Kitsap Peninsula, ushering in a new era of collaboration and celebration of local wine culture and events.
This expansion brings together a diverse array of wineries from Poulsbo, Olalla and Hansville, joining forces with the existing Bainbridge Island members to form the newly rebranded Kitsap Winery Alliance. The addition of these wineries enriches the alliance’s mission to foster community engagement, elevate regional winemaking and provide unforgettable experiences for wine enthusiasts near and far.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome our new members from the greater Kitsap Peninsula to the newly expanded Kitsap Winery Alliance,” said Matt Albee, owner of Eleven Winery and president of the alliance. “This expansion represents a significant milestone in our journey, as we unite with wineries across the region to showcase the rich diversity and exceptional quality of wines produced right here in our own backyard. We’re also excited about the upcoming programing we’re able to offer wine enthusiasts across the state and invite them to Kitsap.”
New members of the Kitsap Winery Alliance include:
- State 42 Wines in Poulsbo
- Hard Hat Winery in Poulsbo
- Olalla Valley Vinyard & Winery in Olalla
- Telve di Sopra (opening late summer in Hansville)
- Finial Cellars (opening late summer in Poulsbo)
These additions join the existing roster of Bainbridge Island members:
- Bainbridge Vineyards
- Eagle Harbor Wine Co.
- Eleven Winery
- Fletcher Bay Winery
- Rolling Bay Winery
- Perennial Vintners
With the expansion comes a lineup of new programs and events that showcase the unique offerings of wineries across the Kitsap Peninsula. From a wine cruise around Bainbridge Island on July 27 to a new tasting passport offering a flight at each winery, the Kitsap Winery Alliance will provide new programs and events for local wine connoisseurs and visitors alike.
As part of the rebranding efforts, the Kitsap Winery Alliance will unveil a refreshed visual identity that reflects the organization’s expanded reach and collective spirit.
