Bottom Line:
With the world awash in SUVs Ford has extended its ST engineering to the 2019 Edge. We applaud the effort, although we much preferred the nimble Focus ST. The Edge ST has all the positive attributes of regular Edges plus the great 335-hp twin turbo 2.7-L V-6 and performance oriented suspension. The Edge ST isn’t in the same league as M-series BMW SUVs and AMG Mercedes SUVs, but it costs much less. In that regard the 2019 Edge ST is a veritable performance bargain.
