Local grocer Town & Country Markets recently announced the launch of a series of limited-edition insulated mugs created in collaboration with five Pacific Northwest artists.

Each mug is from Seattle-based drinkware company MiiR and inspired by the communities and landscape surrounding the chain’s six locations, including Bainbridge Island and Poulsbo.

“These mugs celebrate some of the things that make each of our markets and the communities they serve special,” Larry Liang, Town & Country’s senior director of marketing, said in a press release. “We wanted to create something fun, local, and lasting that draws a connection to the places where our guests live.”

Artist Shogo Ota — who also created the official FIFA World Cup poster for Seattle — designed the mug for the Bainbridge Island market. Ota drew inspiration from the island’s history, the Nakata family (one of the grocery franchise’s founding families), and the original Town & Country Market, according to the release.

The Poulsbo market’s mug was designed by artist Marisol Ortega and nods to the town’s Nordic heritage and nearby Liberty Bay.

The limited-edition mugs are available in-store only at the corresponding Town & Country Market locations while supplies last and are priced at $27.99.
