Parents looking for a bit of respite from their kiddos might want to check out PenMet Parks’ next Kids Night Out event, scheduled for May 29.
Registration is open for the event, which recurs monthly and includes a menu of themed activities.
Parents can drop their children off starting at 5 p.m. at the PenMet Parks Recreation Center, with pickup scheduled for 9 p.m. Kids get dinner, projects, and a movie for the evening’s entertainment. Those attending are encouraged to bring a sleeping bag and pillow for comfort during the film.
Kids Night Out is $42 for Gig Harbor residents and $51 for non-residents. Parents signing up with more than two kids will get a $10 discount. Sign up here.
