Global headliners, genre explorers, and on-the-come-up local talent will all converge beneath the Space Needle at Seattle Center Sept. 5–6 for the much-anticipated 2026 edition of the Bumbershoot Arts & Music Festival.

Confirmed by organizers this morning, the bill will be led by hometown band Death Cab for Cutie, returning to Seattle just after the release of its new album “I Built You a Tower.” The band will be joined by the recently Grammy-winning punk-rock group Turnstile.

The weekend also features masked country crooner Orville Peck, electronic duo Chase & Status, riot grrrl legends Bikini Kill, and hip-hop trailblazers De La Soul. Other artists of note include garage rockers Die Spitz, avant-garde-leaning Yves Tumor, grooving singer-songwriter 54 Ultra, and rollicking girl group ATARASHII GAKKO! As a special highlight, rapper Noname will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of her album “Telefone,” too.
