In celebration of Parks & Recreation Month, the city of Poulsbo hosts four outdoor concerts at the Waterfront Pavilion along with many other free events throughout July. Summer tunes can be enjoyed from the outdoor patios of the local eateries within earshot or from a grassy spot near the waterfront. This free live music series takes place at one of the coolest kid-oriented parks on the Kitsap Peninsula — Battle Point Park, commonly referred to as “ferry park” for its enormous, life-like WSF ferry-themed jungle gym. Slow down and relax into a summer evening at Old Town Silverdale Waterfront Park. The Silverdale at Sunset concert series brings locals and visitors together along the shoreline of Dyes Inlet for free live music, food vendors, and golden-hour views that seem straight out of a postcard. Downtown Port Orchard is home to many community events throughout the year, but the Fathoms O’ Fun series — much like the free Concerts on the Bay series — is especially a summer highlight for many locals. Live music is staged on the Waterfront Park Pavilion, which features amphitheater-style seating, views of both walk-on and vehicle ferry crossings, plus a great playground for the kids. These events are fun for the whole family and are within walking distance to a variety of dining options and treats such as locally crafted fudge, chocolates, ice cream, doughnuts, baked goods, and coffee. The grassy knoll overlooking the Boat Shed entrance serves as the stage for Music in Manette, an intimate and free-to-attend annual concert series in the small Bremerton suburb. Listen to local bands as you watch the sun set across the Olympic Mountains and ferries sail Sinclair Inlet. Manette is home to several mouth-watering eateries, creating the ultimate dinner-and-a-show date night. Presented by the Manette Business Association.

Clearwater Casino Resort is nestled on the shores of the Agate Passage, snugly sandwiched against the border of Poulsbo and the Agate Pass Bridge, which delivers you to Bainbridge Island. Its epic summer concert series is held in the resort courtyard lawn surrounded by breathtaking views of Puget Sound. For those who plan to spend the night on the evening of the concert, your ticket to the show is included with your room charge. Since The Point Casino’s 2016 opening, the Summer Sounds series has been held in the hotel courtyard during the summer on Fridays and Saturdays. Concerts come with a barbecue menu and open bar starting at 5 p.m., running from 6-9 p.m. Seating is limited and first come, first served, so get there early. The courtyard features a large fire pit surrounded by smaller tables — a great place to relax and unwind when the weather permits. Plan to bring your own chairs to sit in the grassy area.

Kingston | The Point Casino & Hotel

Each summer, the charming waterfront community of Kingston offers free concerts on the grassy area of Mike Wallace Park. The park is situated near the busy ferry terminal, offering vehicle and foot ferry service to Edmonds and downtown Seattle, making it the perfect spot to invite friends and family from the other side of the water. Explore the downtown district on foot and enjoy cozy cafes, bakeries, unique retail, restaurants, craft beer, and local wines. Presented by the Greater Kingston Community Chamber of Commerce.
