Halloween celebrations take on a distinctly Scandinavian flavor in Poulsbo with the town’s annual Halloween Viking Bonfire. The event is one of several bonfire traditions held in Poulsbo throughout the year, and community members have two chances to catch it, Oct. 17 and Oct. 31.
Hosted on the downtown waterfront, the family-friendly event brings together costumed Vikings, seasonal traditions, and a large bonfire overlooking Liberty Bay. Visitors can watch the Poulsbo Sons of Norway Vikings light the fire, listen to seasonal proclamations, and take photos with the participants.
