Elandan Gardens

On the shores of Sinclair Inlet between Port Orchard and Bremerton, Elandan Gardens boasts a world-class bonsai collection that is one of Kitsap’s most impressive gardens and hidden gems. Inspired landscaping, beautiful gardens, and decor complement the majestic bonsais on display.

Brothers Greenhouses

Port Orchard

Known for the amazingly cute Hobbit House, Brothers Greenhouses is a local staple for outdoor and indoor plants and garden supplies, and a massive, magical gift shop. Plan on spending at least an hour wandering the grounds, taking it all in.

Salish Trees Nursery

Kingston

This Kingston nursery specializes in species native to the area — allowing gardeners to use plants in landscaping that truly reflect the flora that makes the Peninsula special.

Bainbridge Gardens 

Bainbridge Island

With 60-plus years in business, Bainbridge Gardens has stood the test of time with husband and wife owners whose passion for all things that grow and flower is on full display with their impressive selection of plants.

Valley Nursery

Poulsbo

Valley Nursery is a Kitsap icon with garden supplies, decor, and a massive selection of plants. The giant wooden trolls add whimsy to this expansive and welcoming nursery.

Heronswood Garden

Kingston

Heronswood Garden comprises 15 acres of beautiful botanical gardens, boasting a vast array of plants from around the world, with more than 8,000 varieties spread across six distinct yet integrated gardens.

Bloedel Reserve

Bainbridge Island

140 glorious acres of forest trails and beautifully landscaped gardens — Bloedel is a must for garden lovers and anyone who wants to relax amid nature’s bounty. Bloedel Reserve is a nonprofit with a broad range of activities and engagement opportunities.

Olmsted’s Nursery

Poulsbo

Olmsted’s Nursery, a beloved family-owned Poulsbo nursery, has a huge selection of outdoor plants and is decorated with playful garden decor that kids and adults alike will love.

Vista Gardens 

Bremerton

Nestled into the hill overlooking Phinney Bay is this ‘secret garden’ oasis. The husband and wife creators of this enchanting garden are dedicated to educating and inspiring the public to create, restore, and conserve sustainable green spaces. Open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. for unscheduled public visits.
