Small and Beautiful Gardens

Teri's TipsI prefer smaller gardens because they can take your breath away as you walk through them. Victorian, shabby chic, perennial beds full of flowers, vignettes, pathways, a rose garden, concrete birdbaths, arbors covered with blooming vines and climbers and a charming porch for entertaining. Containers overflowing with trailing blossoms. Fragrance! Don’t forget the long-blooming mammoth sweet peas that will bloom until October as long as you keep fertilizing, keep their feet wet and deadhead stem and all.

I can’t wait to plant lettuce, cabbage, parsley and herbs in raised beds and window boxes. Can you tell I’m ready for spring to be here?

Planning new gardens is all I want to do. Happy spring to all!
