The Kitsap Economic Development Alliance recently released Kitsap Tools for Success, a new online toolkit designed to help current and prospective childcare providers start, grow, and manage their businesses.

Created in partnership with the Child Care Action Council, the resource brings together information on licensing, permitting, business planning, financing, workforce development, insurance, training, and other essential topics in one place, making it easier for providers to navigate the process of opening or expanding a licensed childcare business.

“Childcare providers are entrepreneurs navigating one of the most complex regulatory environments of any small business,” KEDA Economic Development Manager James Davis said in a recent press release. “Our goal was to create a practical resource that reduces uncertainty, connects providers with the right partners, and helps more childcare businesses succeed.”
