On June 6, Heronswood Gardens in Kingston is hosting its annual Heronswoof event — inviting pups and their people out for a day of garden strolls, treats, music, and pet-focused education.
The event will kick off at 10 a.m. with presentations by holistic veterinarian Dr. Shelby Watson and canine rehabilitation specialist Dr. Christin Finn, who will cover topics like natural pet wellness, nutrition, canine mobility, and long-term joint health.
Just before noon, Sue and the Stringalongs will provide a live music performance at the Rotunda Plaza in the Travelers Garden.
Dogs can enjoy puppacinos, treasure trail treat stations, and plenty of opportunities to make new four-legged friends. The event will also include a raffle benefiting The Gray Muzzle Project.
Until the event’s closing around 2 p.m., two-legged visitors are invited to browse local vendors offering homemade dog treats, pet accessories, photography sessions, gourmet pet products, and more.
A standard garden admission ticket is required for entry, but there is no additional cost to participate in the event. Find the event’s full agenda here.
