Pride Month is officially here. Here are three area events worth checking out.
Inspired by the theme “Rooted in Pride,” this Bainbridge Island festival will take place from noon to 8 p.m. on June 20 at Waterfront Park. The event will feature food, entertainment, a variety of local vendors, and an expanded kids’ zone.
Gig Harbor is hosting its fourth annual Pride in the Park event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 27 at Skansie Brothers Park. This year’s celebration will have drag performances, live music from the Bria Kam Band and Lakin and Meara, carnival games, a kids’ area, and community speakers.
Celebrating 30 years of Pride, Kitsap Pride is taking place from 3-8 p.m. on July 18 at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds in Bremerton. The free, family-friendly gathering includes a main stage with live music, drag performances, and a DJ. There will also be a beer garden and Pride store.
