Just in time for the holiday season, Seattle-area residents and visitors can soon board a new boat, FRS Clipper’s Poulsbo Express, for day trips to Washington’s “Little Norway.”
During sailing, guests can expect festive music, holiday-themed food and drinks, family activities, and overall Christmas cheer, a release said.
The boat is a new Emerald Clipper catamaran that takes its passengers through Puget Sound and Agate Pass before docking in downtown Poulsbo. The trip takes about 90 minutes in each direction.
Once ashore, guests can explore, shop, dine, and take part in the town’s lineup of seasonal activities.
“The city of Poulsbo is pleased to welcome FRS Clipper Excursions to our waterfront for the 2026 holiday season,” Poulsbo Mayor Ed Stern said in the release. “Their arrival offers new opportunities for visitors to experience Poulsbo’s unique charm, vibrant local businesses, and festive Nordic holiday traditions. We are excited to partner with FRS Clipper in creating a memorable and joyful season for residents and guests alike.”
Trips begin Nov. 27, departing from Seattle at 10 a.m. and returning at 6 p.m. The cruises run each weekend through Dec. 20. Tickets are $99 per passenger. Find the Poulsbo Express’ complete sailing schedule and more details here.
