Western U.S. homebuilder Trumark Homes announced plans today for 87 new single-family homes in Poulsbo, on the Kitsap Peninsula.
The 18-acre Sandstone Ridge community — planned for the 19100 block of Noll Road Northeast — marks Trumark’s first land acquisition since entering the Pacific Northwest market earlier this year through the acquisition of Sumner homebuilder JK Monarch, which had built communities in Bonney Lake, Enumclaw, Gig Harbor, Lakewood, Puyallup, and Tacoma, as well as the Tri-Cities. Trumark is based in San Ramon, California.
Project development is underway for Sandstone Ridge, with a grand opening and sales launch anticipated in spring 2027. Pricing and specific home details will be announced then, according to a news release from Trumark. The development will feature single-family homes with floorplans ranging from 2,542 to 3,087 square feet, with three to five bedrooms, 2 ½ to 3 ½ bathrooms, and two-car garages.
Trumark said it also plans to transition 10 communities currently selling across the state to the Trumark Homes brand, further leveraging the company’s resources and establishing the name in the market. It established its Washington Division with the JK Monarch acquisition.
“The vision since day one was for Trumark Homes to be a top-five homebuilder in the Pacific Northwest, and the announcement of Sandstone Ridge is an important step towards that goal,” Corey Watson, Washington Division president at Trumark Homes, said in the release. “With enhanced capital and operational resources behind us, we can scale up quickly and pursue growth opportunities. We are well-positioned for an active Q4 2026 and beyond.”
Steve Kalmbach, chief operating officer at Trumark Homes, added in the release that the greater Seattle area has been a target for expansion since the company entered the market earlier this year and said Trumark is beginning to execute on its strategic plan.
“We are actively engaged in conversations with landowners across the region and see a clear runway for sustained growth,” Kalmbach said.
Building upon its strategic growth in the market, Trumark will rebrand 10 on-sale communities from JK Monarch’s name to the Trumark Homes umbrella. Transitioning the communities in name and across the company’s digital channels will provide a seamless experience from contract to homeownership, and includes LiveTru, Trumark’s app giving homebuyers a centralized digital hub for each stage of the building process and a secure, streamlined means to contact the sales, construction, and escrow teams, the company said.
Communities assuming the Trumark Homes name are Boise Creek Cove and Rosenbauer Lane in Enumclaw; Firdrona Crest in Gig Harbor; Glacier Pointe at Tehaleh; Interlaaken Estates in Lakewood; Liberty Park in Bonney Lake; Mountain Glen, Thornwell, and Three Cedars in Puyallup; and Trails End at Brookdale in Tacoma.
