Private estate-management and concierge company Haven Estate Co. recently launched its services on Bainbridge Island, catering specifically to luxury and second-home properties. 

Company founder Oliver Sealand currently resides on Bainbridge Island’s north end with his husband and two young children. 

“(Bainbridge Island is) a special place, and it’s ultimately the reason I chose to build Haven here,” Sealand said in an email to West Sound. “We love the sense of community, the access to the outdoors, and the pace of life.” 

Following a career in the hospitality industry working under notable names such as Kimpton Group and Hyatt Regency, Sealand noticed a gap in service when he moved to the island in 2020. 

“Many homeowners had excellent vendors and systems in place, but often nobody was truly overseeing the complete picture,” he said. “Haven was intentionally built to deliver a more personalized and proactive level of service than traditional home watch companies, combining operational oversight with a true concierge mindset. At its core, the company exists to help homeowners feel that someone is already paying attention before they ever need to ask.” 

The boutique company operates via a membership-based service and offers three tiers: Foundation, which provides essential oversight (like scheduled property visits, weather readiness, and mail and package oversight); Signature, which provides vendor scheduling, coordination, maintenance follow-through, project tracking, home readiness, seasonal transitions, and lifestyle and concierge support related to travel, dining reservations, special requests, and more.; and Legacy, which provides multi-vendor orchestration, long-term estate planning, expanded concierge services, guests and household support, estate documentation and records management, and more. 

“Membership is intentionally currently focused exclusively on Bainbridge Island,” Sealand said. “That focus allows us to remain deeply local, responsive, and deliver the level of continuity and care this model was designed around. Our goal is for every client to feel known — not managed.”
