Snoop Dogg made a stop at the Issaquah Costco this week to promote his latest product: Snoop Box Kettle Chips.
The Issaquah-based retailer has long been a magnet for pop-culture business chatter, including for its hot dog-and-soda food-court combo — the price of which has remained at $1.50 for more than four decades and counting.
This time, though, Costco’s “dog” moment was a different one.
Snoop Box Kettle Chips are sold in a variety pack featuring three flavors: cheddar and ranch; maple BBQ; and “All-In,” a blend of salt, vinegar, cheddar, barbecue, onion, and garlic. The chips have no artificial colors, trans fats, or added sugars and are currently available at stores through the area.
Food industry veteran James Lindsay, CEO of Do the Right Thing Snacks and Rap Snacks, headed the collaboration.
