The Kitsap Tourism Coalition, under its brand “Love Kitsap,” is raising the bar for tourism in Kitsap County. With the launch of the county’s first-ever Digital Countywide Exploration Guide, Interactive Maps and curated itineraries, the coalition is demonstrating a commitment to enhancing how visitors experience all that Kitsap County has to offer. As seen on PBS’ “Northwest Explorer,” this initiative seamlessly integrates the Love Kitsap website, social media and branding efforts, providing a comprehensive resource for both tourists and locals.
Discover the Kitsap Peninsula
With hundreds of miles of pristine shoreline and endless opportunities for outdoor adventures, the Kitsap Peninsula captures the heart of the Pacific Northwest’s small-town charm. Visitors can stay in any number of accommodations and immerse themselves in vibrant farmers markets, sip on locally brewed ales or explore the miles of trails that weave through the Peninsula’s lush landscapes.
From the Mosquito Fleet to Love Kitsap
The historic Mosquito Fleet once served as a lifeline for Kitsap’s communities, connecting people and goods across the peninsula’s waterways. Today, Love Kitsap channels that same spirit of connection by uniting the region under a shared vision for tourism. This initiative is spearheaded by Visit Bainbridge Island in collaboration with area chambers and stakeholders throughout the Kitsap Peninsula.
“Love Kitsap represents a fresh, unified effort to bring out the best in our communities and share them with the world. We’re committed to fostering a deep connection between visitors and the authentic experiences that make Kitsap so special,” says Christina Pivarnik, executive director of Visit Bainbridge Island.

Interactive Maps Simplify Exploration
Love Kitsap has also introduced interactive maps to make it easier to plan local outings. Whether visitors are searching for breweries, nurseries, pet-friendly accommodations or destinations, or seasonal attractions like pumpkin patches, these maps cut through the clutter and provide tailored recommendations. Travelers can also easily find iconic spots in Kingston, Bainbridge Island, Poulsbo, Silverdale, Bremerton, Port Orchard and South Kitsap. Check out these resources at kitsap.love/maps.
