Leslee Dixon is co-founder with Pam Buitenveld of The Food Shed and the Mossback Café in Kingston. Simply put, they're farmers with a café and are inspired to create and serve delicious seasonal menus that come from food grown at their own farm and other area farms as well. They host farm dinners and classes. When they founded The Food Shed in 2010, the objective was to promote conscious consumption by advocating local and sustainable food systems. The Mossback Café is open 5-9 p.m. Thursday through Sunday and is located at 26185 Ohio Avenue in Kingston.
