A New Hydrangea in Town

I’m so excited to tell you about this beautiful shrub named Eclipse Big Leaf Hydrangea.

The leaves are dark purple — almost black, and have a sheen like satin. They stay dark all season long, year after year.

The blooms are a spectacular — cranberry or amethyst color — providing dramatic contrast to the dark leaves while reblooming all summer long.

Bring on the bold — maturing at 3 – 5 feet tall and wide, Eclipse is bound to make an impact in any landscape. Whether you plant Eclipse with bright shrubs to make it stand out as a focal point, plant it in a row to create a gorgeous hedge or pair it to complement low-growing perennials, you can count on Eclipse to make a bold statement.

Available at Valley Nursery, Bay Hay & Feed, Bremerton City Nursery, Bainbridge Gardens, among other gardening centers.
